The holistic approach of orthodontics
Three dimensional (3D) diagnosis
Initial consultation for our patients includes a full oral exam. We evaluate any existing and potential pathologies leading to the etiology of the specific patient’s mal-occlusion. That may include narrow upper jaws, disturbances in jaw growth, tooth development, thumb sucking, poor breathing patterns and restricted airways often associated with sleep apnea. Our analysis comprises intra-oral and extra-oral X-rays and the in-office 3D modern oral scans. Thus, the traditional two-dimensional (2D) approach of diagnosis is transformed into an advanced three-dimensional (3D) technique.
We explain which are likely to resolve by themselves and identify any areas that may require monitoring. More importantly we will indicate if multidisciplinary intervention is suggested. This kind of management may include the intervention of ENT, speech therapist and/or mayofunctional therapist in addition to orthodontic-orthopedic intervention of our team.

Orthopedic treatment
Orthopedic treatment
Orthopedic treatment is a part of the holistic multidisciplinary approach in a growing patient. This concept aims to improve oral functions, jaw pattern of growth and body posture and to eliminate obstructive sleep apnea. This intervention is performed at a young age while baby teeth are still present, often around 6-7 but occasionally even earlier, 4–5-year-olds. Early interceptive orthodontic care for young children includes redirection of jaw growth and elimination of harmful oral habits by using removable or fixed orthodontic plates. These allow to guide and modulate the growth of the jaws and the flexibility to regulate their width thus managing proper eruption of the permanent teeth. The favorable jaw relationships and newly erupted permanent teeth position improve smile appearance and self-esteem and may prevent the need of complex future orthodontic treatment. We explain which are likely to resolve by themselves and identify any areas that may require monitoring. The Invisalign Treatment System
At the Aizenbud clinic we are pleased to offer our patients of all age, children, teens and adults, the popular attractive and effective Invisalign treatment. By the Invisalign modern technique your misaligned teeth are gradually repositioned in a friendly environment without the need to wear a mouth full of metal. Not only is Invisalign barely noticeable while providing you an amazing smile, it is also a lot more comfortable. Unlike traditional metal braces, Invisalign comprises smooth material, does not have sharp edges that can irritate the gums and teeth like metal braces. Aligners and treatment process are customized and tailored to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted by means of a virtually invisible set of a clear plastic aligners. Every time frame of one to two weeks, you will replace your removable Invisalign aligners, which will gradually shift your teeth into the appropriate position for a straighter and more beautiful smile. Your Invisalign aligners should be worn day and night for 20 to 22 hours each day. To maintain your beautiful smile permanently after the active treatment phase a set of retainers should be worn at night-time to keep your teeth in place. Invisalign aligners are much more convenient in everyday life, they can be removed while eating and give you the flexibility to brush and floss your teeth normally. Also, Invisalign aligners require fewer trips to our office for tweaking or adjustments like metal braces.

Personalized orthodontics - 3D treatment planning
Personalized orthodontics
Once you are found suitable for Invisalign aligners following an accurate orthodontic diagnosis, Prof. Aizenbud maps out a customized treatment plan just for you. Using the fully equipped 3D orthodontic office, Prof. Aizenbud is able to adjust the individualized 3D position of each tooth (crown and root) in the dental arch and conclude the occlusal consequences. The Treatment can be accurately followed and compared to the preliminary plan. Later Prof. Aizenbud will share with you the digital orthodontic treatment planning by means of Invisalign ClinCheck software tool. In this way our patients, their families and friends are privileged to be part of the treatment planning. Final tooth position, treatment stages and duration and jaw relationship including future smile image can be visualized before a single tooth is actually moved in the mouth. Only after your approval the set of aligners will be fabricated and shipped to our office and will be finally provided for you to commence your treatment.
Invisalign First - Early treatment for young children
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends early treatment to address sooner rather than later issues related to the child’s growth or tooth position. Invisalign First clear aligner treatment is designed to correct developing malocclusions including crowding, spacing, and narrowing dental arches in primary or decidual teeth with a less invasive approach using removable aligners. No discomfort from rubbing brackets or poking wires. Invisalign First’s additional benefit is easy brushing and flossing, thus helping to maintain proper hygiene for growing children. Therefore, it offers a positive experience so that as children grow, their smiles grow with them.
Children who don’t need early treatment enter our routine observation schedule. In this schedule we see children recurrently every 6-12 years at no charge to monitor their growth and development and determine the appropriate time for treatment.
Invisalign First
Invisalign Teen - The clear alternative to braces
Invisalign Teen
Invisalign Teen offers an orthodontic solution that creates the perfect smile with no metal brackets and wires all over the teeth causing a negative effect on teens’ self-esteem. Invisalign Teen aligners use the same core concept as braces, moving teeth by applying a small amount of pressure. Plastic aligners are completely clear and are practically invisible when worn. Invisalign Teen aligners come in multiple sets; each set needs to be worn for one week at a time. Every week you switch to the next set of aligners to keep moving the teeth until they reach their final, ideal positioning. The length of treatment depends on how many aligners are needed, which depends on the patient’s individual case. The aligners are also completely removable, meaning that patients have no diet restrictions like they would with braces and maintaining good oral hygiene is simpler.
Invisalign - The adult orthodontic treatment solution
Orthodontic treatment is no longer just for teens! Today’s Invisalign clear aligners offer an ideal solution for adult orthodontic patients. Orthodontic movement of teeth is possible at any age although treatment methods are different compared to growing patients. The variety of orthodontic treatment options that we provide ensure an optimal functional occlusion and beautiful smile. Cosmetic considerations and functional concerns are a strong motivation to pursue orthodontic treatment at an advanced age. It’s never too late to consider getting the smile you’ve always dreamed of! Children who don’t need early treatment enter our routine observation schedule. In this schedule we see children recurrently every 6-12 years at no charge to monitor their growth and development and determine the appropriate time for treatment.
